Member of New England Association of Schools and Colleges
Les Roches International School of Hotel Management is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. (NEASC) through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. Founded in 1885 as a voluntary, non-profit, self governing organization, NEASC is the oldest of the six regional accrediting bodies in the United States.
NEASC membership is synonymous with accreditation and NEASC accreditation acknowledges a school’s high quality and integrity. Matters of accreditation are decided by four association commissions according to research-driven standards reviewed by their membership.
The evaluation and accreditation process is “a longstanding stimulus for educational improvement,” according to NEASC president and CEO Cameron C. Staples. Conducted on a ten-year cycle, accreditation requires members to stay accountable to an ongoing, voluntary and comprehensive system of self-study, peer review and follow up.
